To be considered for an offer, you will need to submit a formal application through our Apply Online portal. Once you have paid the AU$125 application fee, UNSW will be able to assess your application. Application fees are non-refundable and must be paid to submit the application for assessment. UNSW is unable to provide application fee waivers.

In order to apply you will need copies of your award certificate as well as proof of English language proficiency. It is possible to apply without immediately providing all supporting documentation. Our Admissions Office will assess your application and, if eligible, will issue you with a conditional offer.

A full offer of admission will be issued only when all academic and English language requirements have been met and all the transcripts/documentation has been supplied. Applications generally take four to six weeks to be assessed.

It is not compulsory to submit resumes or letters of recommendation, unless it is specifically stated in the entry requirements of your degree. However, you are welcome to include them if you feel they will strengthen your application.

Once the processing of your application has begun, our Admissions Office will send you a student ID number that you may use to track the progress of your application online. This will also notify you of any outstanding documents that are required to process your application.

For most degrees, the deadline to apply for Term 3 (September) 2019 admission is July 31, 2019. The deadline to apply for Term 1 (February), 2020 admission is November 30, 2019 subject to available places.

Information about UNSW’s tuition fees can be found on our Fees website. You can calculate future International fees using our Indicative Fees page.
