To be considered for an offer for our postgraduate programs, you will need to submit an application through our Apply Online portal. Applications submitted after the on-time closing date are subject to available places.

Applications for Terms 2 and 3 of 2025, as well as Term 1 of 2026 are now open! For Term 2, applications will close on May 8th.

You will need copies of your qualification certificate, academic transcript, proof of citizenship and proof of English language proficiency to apply, as well as a current resume and cover letter. You can apply for postgraduate study at UNSW before completing your undergraduate degree, pending that you plan to complete the undergraduate degree before commencing the postgraduate program.

Once the processing of your application has begun, our Admissions Team will send you an acknowledgement letter, including a student ID number, that you can use to track the progress of your application online.

Applications are prioritised by commencing term and if additional documentation is required, there may be delays in receiving a final outcome. Once you have provided all the necessary documentation, it may take up to 10-12 weeks for UNSW to assess your application, depending on the term you are applying for. A full offer of admission can only be issued once all necessary documents have been received and the requirements have been met.
